Book Review: “Dying to Be Me: My Journey from Cancer, to Near Death, to True Healing”Posted May 8, 2018
By Anita Moorjani
I first heard of this book years ago when I was apprenticing with Atherton Drenth at the Paradigm Centre. “Dying to Be Me” was frequently recommended to clients struggling with cancer or other illnesses. As Anita struggled to meet others’ expectations for her life and ignored her own needs and desires, the universe found a way to get her back on track. This book is an informative tale of her realization that surrendering to love, pureness, and miracles is the best path to complete healing. Most of us will be able to relate to her story of doing things to please parents, teachers, and other mentors. A good reminder of the magnificence in all of us!
