Book Review: Everyday Mindfulness: 108 Simple Practices to Empower Yourself and Transform Your Life by Melissa SteginusPosted September 14, 2021
In the spring of 2021, I came across this book, Everyday Mindfulness, and spent 108 days refreshing myself on mindfulness practices. I have a strong habit of being in the moment, yet it is always helpful to refresh and find new ways and a different perspective. I appreciated how Melissa Steginus structured the book into physical, emotion, rational, spiritual, occupation, and network. With daily practices and thought-provoking questions, the reader is encouraged to undertake self-discovery on the journey to become more present. Personally, I appreciated the spiritual and occupational chapters as it is an interesting concept to be mindful within these realms. An interesting book to keep you on track with your mindfulness practices.
