Book Review: The Toltec WayPosted January 13, 2021
Over the holidays, Steve and I spent time reading together. I finished “The Toltec Way: A Guide to Personal Transformation” by Dr. Susan Gregg.
As a student of don Miguel Ruiz, Dr. Gregg explores Toltec wisdom. Our minds (mitote) contain preconceived opinions that prevent us from obtaining our independence. When we obtain personal freedom, we act rather than react to situations. By embracing and understanding Awareness, Transformation, and Intent (the three Toltec Masteries), we are able to create a life we want. Dr. Gregg uses entertaining stories, exercises, and meditations to direct us on this journey of awakening and finding inner happiness.
These exercises and experiences are incredibly important for anyone exploring their true inner nature. A delightful read.
