Meditating Our Way into 2024

Posted January 10, 2024

Happy New Year! Another calendar year begins.

Rather than resolutions, an old paradigm technique, let’s embrace some real lifestyle changes that stay integrated for many years. Every day, what can you do for yourself? Every moment, what does your body need? How can you shift thoughts and patterns to become lifelong integrated ways of being your best self? These are questions I ask myself and clients regularly.

Since I wrote my December newsletter, Steve and I had a fascinating walk along the east side of Hwy 6, opposite the Orchard Park building. We were strolling on Ignatius Jesuit land. Down by the Speed river, the beavers had been very active and the water levels were high. My favorite kind of meditations are walking ones with pauses to connect with nature.

For me, it is very important to stay centered in my body through breathing and nature time. And like I’ve told you before, being gentle on myself is key. When we meditate in order to keep balanced and centered, we provided a grounded focus for ourselves and those around us. On my YouTube channel, I’m launching some new meditation videos this year. Keep reading to uncover new ones and older ones you might have missed.
