Summer Solstice & Full Moon

This is a magical time. Happy Summer Solstice to all! Plus, the full moon rises tomorrow! 

Today, Thursday June 20, 2024 at 4:50 pm, was the moment of the Summer Solstice. The light in the Northern Hemisphere is at its peak making this the longest day of the year. It’s been 228 years since a full moon followed the Summer Solstice this closely. The strawberry full moon rises tomorrow at 9:08 pm EST. The energy of the full moon is strong for three days before and after. Have you been feeling the energy of this alignment in the summer heat?

The combination of the Thursday Summer Solstice and the Friday full moon creates a powerful opportunity for change, manifestation, healing, connection, and expansion. This is the perfect time to:

Tonight and for the next three evenings, I will be drumming in our backyard. I will be drumming to the moon, the stars, the spirits, and the energetic beings who join me. I’ve been feeling called to shift and to celebrate these energetic changes in this way. Plus, I will be drumming to the souls of humans who are still suffering and are open to receiving healing. Everyone who wants to energetically participate is welcome to join me on your balcony, in your yard, at a neighborhood park, or other location.
