Toxicologist by Training. Healer by Passion and Choice.

After personally experiencing the healing power of alternative medicine, I became certified in Biocomputer Operating System (BOS), Total Body Modification (TBM), Therapeutic Touch, Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy. These complement my Ph.D. in toxicology and subsequent fifteen years of environmental consulting experience. I am excited that my healing practice is located at Orchard Park at The Ignatius Jesuit Centre and Heartful Wellness Centre.

After years of chronic allergies and other health issues, my own healing journey led me to become a holistic energy practitioner. I am very happy and excited to be on my true path.

Here’s a synopsis:

Always loving plants and nature, and having my grandparents recognize “The Little Gardener” in me, I studied botany and ecology. I obtained my Ph.D. in toxicology thinking that I could help people and the environment by understanding chemical effects.

I struggled with physical and emotional health issues for the first part of my life. In my body, this struggle manifested as severe allergies (environmental, food, chemical, pets) and emotional challenges. Western (allopathic) medicine wasn’t able to provide a solution that was more than a band-aid. The idea of being medicated for the rest of my life did not appeal to me.

It was during my Ph.D. that a few brave friends recommended complementary medicine, such as acupuncture, naturopathy, and energy medicine. I decided to give them a try. It was either that or continue being sick.

Now, I am allergy free! Since these treatments worked for me, I decided to investigate and learn more about alternative healing practices. For the first time, I found something that resonated with me. I continue to take courses and expand my repertoire. I’ve also recently had the pleasure of writing a chapter on Energy Medicine for a university textbook on Holistic Healing.

Self-healing is a huge part of the process and I continue to work on myself as well as providing tools to clients.

I am embracing my true self. Want to meet your true and healthy self? Give me a call or send me an email. I am more than willing to talk and explain the process.

I look forward to meeting you and facilitating your healing journey!
